Guantanamo on the Hudson - Part Deux
Nov. 23rd, 2004 09:45 amIt's taken long enough, but the lawsuit has finally been filed against the city of New York for its heinous crimes during the RNC earlier this year.
I've actually talked to some conservatives about that "incident", and their responses made me long to grab a baseball bat.
Some were in smarmy denial, saying that it didn't happen. Some tried to justify it by saying that everyone arrested was breaking the law. Some just shrugged it off as a non-event, probably because it wasn't happening to them. Bastards.
I've serious doubts that anything good will come of this lawsuit, but I will hope anyway.
