Some smart people are major idiots
Nov. 4th, 2004 12:07 amBush (not one of the aforementioned smart people) is a lying, dishonorable, greedy, self-serving, cowardly, drug-addled, dangerous piece of shit.
That would go without saying, except for the fact that so many of those smart morons need to hear it said over and over just so they'll start to become peripherally aware that their absolute conviction is not universally appreciated. Forget trying to get them to see reason, though.
The smug little bastards are ever so happy that they've contributed to finally getting his sorry ass "legitimately" elected. They blythely ignore or were completely ignorant of (given their choice of news source, this is understandable) all the many acts of voter fraud and voter intimidation committed by the Republican Party and by various Republican supporters.
But they got theirs, and that's all that matters. Just like Republicans, thinking only of themselves.
And now one of the smart ones ("smart Republicans" should be an oxymoron, dammit, but at least it's a rarity) is mouthing some utter bullshit about us "healing the wounds of divisiveness" or some such bollocks. Wanting us to "come together" as a nation of "proud Americans".
Here's a hint for you, you blindly piouser-than-thou dipshit: your team is the rapist, the rest of us were your victims. If you think we are going to play nice just because you got off on a technicality, then I'm really going to enjoy the look on your face when the backlash catches you full on.
Many of us were willing to let you assholes be if you did the same for us. You refused. Instead, you try to force your religion into our bedrooms, you fucking literally poison our water and air, you shit on our neighbors, you sell our futures for personal gain, you send our children and parents to die for false causes, you rip up our Constitution and spit on the shreds, you put a high price on our lives that should be free.
And then you have the gall to ask us to "unite" with you?
If there is a god, you are going to burn in hell for that. In the meantime, I'm going to work at getting mine, and fuck you and the horse's ass you rode in on. Have a pretzel.

Aww..
Date: 2004-11-04 05:35 am (UTC)I've been trying to figure out if maybe I've been wrong, and that the only reason this election was so much more important than any other was my awareness of the issues, and awareness of what a dangerous man W is.
I don't think so. I think the Shrub really is as bad as I think he is, which makes me very angry with, and very disappointed in those who voted for him, for whatever reason. I can't find it in me to be less angry because someone voted the party line, or because they really felt W made us safer, or that he'll do a better job on terrorism. Each of those shows a remarkable stupidity, and none is 'better' than another.
That these morons then go on to preach their separatist ways, while at the same time, out of the other side of their mouths, condemn us for not just tossing our concerns out the window and holding hands like the damned teletubbies just further illustrates their stupidity, angers me further, and makes it ever less likely that I will ever have any respect for them.
Bush was evil before, and he's still evil. I won't be praising him anytime soon, I'm certain.

I meant, as opposed to other, previous presidents or candidates being just as dangerous, but perhaps I just was not aware of it at the time.
In other words, have the choices always been so serious, so important, so critical, and I simply haven't noticed? I don't think so.
