For some of you, this is old news, but some court transcripts recently resurfaced showing a demonstration of the aggressive capabilities that Saddam possessed which had the Bush Regime rightfully concerned for global safety. To date, no Western scientist has been able to successfully duplicate the devestating technology known only as Tiger Hand, but its effectiveness cannot be misoverestimated.

WARNING: Some of the pictures may be quite graphic.

Yeah, I saw that.

I'm betting that dippy is really depressed. Not just because he didn't make it, but because it's in his nature.

I thought this discussion was pretty interesting yesterday, as it shows people breaking the rules and getting away with it.

Calling NOLAWitch an idiot is breaking the spirit of the rules, n'est pas? He he he. Yeah, right. Had NOLA called him an idiot, though, there might have been some punishment.

And then the other conservative yahoo came on with blanket insults that have been punishable before when used by others. And got away with it.

The most surprising part was when Llyr pointed out the hypocrisy, despite being a conservative yahoo himself. Bravo, Llyr!

Oh - pfui Teufel... Missed that, too. Thank heavens. Just got back from a nasty discussion with another conservative, accusing me for being "emotional" and a victim of leftist propaganda. And this guy CAN think, for crying out loud. The saddam thing is beautifully made, of course. But the link just ruined my smile. Anyway - congrats, Naruki, for the 1.000.000, and thanks to you guys for being on the sane side. Helps to know there are still some...

Basically, UF is a not fun place nowadays.

I basically jump try to stir up some people for OFF UF fun, and run to do that.

Meaning I jump in, try to get somebody to play Halo 2 with, or somebody to chat with, and then go on to doing that and reaing Progressive Boink...

But...

KS says that's not true! He says it's going great, couldn't be better. Something doesn't add up. ;-)

I respect KS, and all the work that he's put in. But when you get too close to an issue, you can't see the big picture.

It wasn't until I backed off of UF for time reasons that I began to notice the big change.

You'll notice that about 90% of the heavy hitters or the past are at most bit parts in the new age.

Yeah, me too.

Though his personal attacks on me were totally uncalled for, I still respect his work and like him as a person.

Most of the remaining 10% are the ones that seem to avoid the censure that they have earned. Ah, well. Shame.

I remember KS posting that the other day

And then I looked at my husband and asked, "what is he smoking?"

I lost interest some time ago. LJ is much more fun. For some reason I just can't find a thread that holds my interest anymore.

LJ's got pros and cons.

Cons include being so disparate that it's hard to spot everything that might be of interest, people deleting posts that show they've been an ass (somebody mention Slamlander?), and some of the navigation features within an entry.

Pros, of course, include that you can display pictures, keep different groups of friends so you don't have to wade through the usual junk posts to find the interesting ones, and say whatever the hell you want.

I still like a lot of the folk at UF, but with the jerks and the care bears comprising an unhealthy majority of the populace, it's just not as fun as in the halcyon days or your. Er, you're. Um, yare?

And I think he has periodic flashbacks from his drug abusing days. Remember when he said that he'd never seen a bad moderator action? This was after DragoonLady had fucked up several times. He's definitely got some occasional mental spasms of some sort or another. On the whole, a nice guy, but he's got moments. :-)

You know, when I first read that part about drug abusing days, I thought you were talking about nin_man. :P

He he he. I can see why you'd get that impression. ;-)
