Cons include being so disparate that it's hard to spot everything that might be of interest, people deleting posts that show they've been an ass (somebody mention Slamlander?), and some of the navigation features within an entry.
Pros, of course, include that you can display pictures, keep different groups of friends so you don't have to wade through the usual junk posts to find the interesting ones, and say whatever the hell you want.
I still like a lot of the folk at UF, but with the jerks and the care bears comprising an unhealthy majority of the populace, it's just not as fun as in the halcyon days or your. Er, you're. Um, yare?
And I think he has periodic flashbacks from his drug abusing days. Remember when he said that he'd never seen a bad moderator action? This was after DragoonLady had fucked up several times. He's definitely got some occasional mental spasms of some sort or another. On the whole, a nice guy, but he's got moments. :-)
